More than 25 million people in Africa are living with HIV/AIDS. Given these numbers, one can only surmise how this epidemic has affected the lives of many deaf women who are often abused, discriminated against, and denied basic services because of their deafness. This conference will bring together those with expertise in deafness and HIV/AIDS who share a passion for justice and change.
